Guy's Tower is a historic tower located in the city of Warwick, England. It was built in the 14th century and is a part of the Warwick Castle estate. The tower was originally used as a watchtower and a place of refuge during times of conflict.
It was named after Guy of Warwick, a legendary figure who was said to have fought against the Danes in the 10th century. The tower is approximately 39 meters (128 feet) tall and has eight floors, with a spiral staircase leading to the top.
In the 17th century, a roof was added to the tower, giving it a distinctive cone shape. The tower remained in use until the 18th century when it was converted into a clock tower. Today, it is open to the public and visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside.
